About the Guild
Shadow Order is a friendly, laid back light-RP guild on the Kirin Tor realm that offers something for virtually any type of player; however, we are primarily focused on end-game (level 85) instance runs (including both normal and heroic instances) and high-level quests. We are currently raiding with one 10-man group. We are most active during the evening and nighttime hours (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM Kirin Tor server time).
Whether we're exploring dungeons, PvP-ing, questing, or just hanging out, Shadow Order is all about companionship, loyalty, and having fun. We endeavor to avoid drama and in-fighting at all costs, and we seek to forge friendships and help one another get the most out of the game. At the same time, we strive for excellence, success, and consistent progress in our raids. We are an alt-friendly guild.
Shadow Order has a beautiful tabard, as well as a 50-man Ventrilo server and a website with forums. We use the ingame calendar to schedule guild runs and events. We also have access to three different channels through which we can find extra party/raid members during times of need: took, kirintoralliance, and sunderedshadow. Any of these channels can be joined by Shadow Order members by typing /join [channel name] ( i.e. /join took). The took, kirintoralliance, and sunderedshadow channels are NOT for chat, however. They are to be used strictly for looking for groups or seeking more members for a current group when not enough guildies of the appropriate class are available.

History of Shadow Order
Shadow Order was founded in Spring of 2005 by Belias, a Night Elf Hunter from Shadow Glen, Teldrassil, who felt that the prominent guilds of the realm had become complacent and ineffectual in their fight against the evil assailing Azeroth. Belias had a vision of a new guild – a new order – that was active at night and worked in the shadows to defend the peoples of Azeroth. Thus, Shadow Order was born.
Through the aid of the rogues Freznel and Edareye, the priestess Moonsz, the druid Krazypants, the huntress Shadowjade, and many other brave adventurers, Shadow Order grew strong over time and proved themselves effective in the fight against the many evils that plague Azeroth.
In the start of 2007, just before the Burning Crusade began, Shadow Order merged with Atra Oblivio – a guild of similar interests, goals, and size – to form a new, stronger version of Shadow Order. Belinaomi, the Guild Master of Atra Oblivio, became Shadow Mistress of the Shadow Order, ruling the guild along with Belias. In July of 2011, Belinaomi left Shadow Order to start a new adventure, leaving Belias as the Guild Leader once again.
Now, in the age of the Cataclysm, Shadow Order continues to grow and strengthen under the leadership of Belias and his wise and powerful Majestrixes taking Shadow Order to the Firelands and beyond.
